About JNTU  Anantapur:

The term JNTU stands for Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. The motto of university is ‘Yoga karmasu kaushalam’ and the motto in English is excellence in the action is yoga. The university is started or established in the year of 1946. The university is known as education and the research Institution type of university. The number of postgraduates and the undergraduates in the university are 400 and 1440 respectively. The locality of the university is in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh in India. The area of covered by the university is approximately 200 acres and this is named as state university. This university is set by the Act of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University since the year of 1972 and by the JNTU Act in year of 2008 the university received the ‘autonomous statuses’ in 2008.
