History of TCS:
The foundation of
TCS Limited was occurred by the Tata Sons Limited in the year of 1968. The
first campus drive of TCS is conducted in 1975 and that was held at IISC,
Mumbai and Bangalore. They recruits 12 graduates those from the Indian
Institute of Technology and 3 graduates from IISC, And they became the first
TCS employees.
TCS released a
trading system and electronic depository system called ‘SECOM’ for Swiss
company, in 1979. In pune city the Tata Consultancy Service established the 1st
development center and dedicated research of software in 1981.
Tata Consultancy Service became the listed company in
publicly, on 25th of August 2004. And also it became the 1st Indian Information
Technology service in the bioinformatics market, in 2005.

Class action of lawsuit:
U.S. law
firm Bernstein, LLP and Lieff Cabraser Heimann, field a nationwide class action
of lawsuit against TCS Limited, on 14thFebraury 2006.Tata Consultancy Services
has won the contract to create an online system and it is called as dig Tax for
$1.2 million. In Chennai TCS developed the software at the development center
and this software were rejected by the Charleston Country during the testing of
users accepting process.
