The history of Wipro Limited:  

The early years of formative:

The incorporation of the Wipro Company Limited is happened on 29th of December in the year of 1945. This was established by the ‘Krishna Vasudev Bawta’ in Mumbai. After the death of Mohammed Premji’s his son named Azeem Premji returned to the home from the SU (Stanford University) and he became the chairman of the Wipro Limited at his 21 years. This was happened in the year of 1966.

On 7th June in the year of 1977, the name of the company has changed to the Wipro product Limited from the old name of Western India Vegetables Products Limited. The arrival of the Wipro limited into the IT domain in the year of 1980.

In between the year 1996 to 1992:

In the year of 1988, The Wipro has done the process of diversified of its product line to into the two types of cylinders one is Mobile hydraulic cylinder and second one is Heavy duty industrial cylinder. 

In between the year 1994 to 2000:

In the year 1995, The Wipro has set up an overseas of design centre for handle the projects and development of the products in the advanced technology for the clients of overseas. In the year 2000, the Wipro has launched the solutions regarding converging networks at the internet and the telecom solutions providers in the names of the Wipro Limited WAP Smart and the Wipro Limited OSS.
